My company received a threatening email today. Apparently, Ray Hammond believes that I should burn in hell for having started this excellent site. According to an email I received from the organization’s official email account, he hopes that my money “chokes” me. Instead of taking the time to respond to this unexciting email, I, of course, chose to be the bigger person, and instead gift NYQ.
Panda Professor is not just another random organization seeking to make itself rich through exploitation. Believe you me, since I started this company, my goal has always been to help students who are struggling through education one way or another. Let’s not pretend we are not aware that the education system is capitalist in nature and, as such, costs students a lot more in terms of time and finance. I believe all students should be able to take care of their medical bills, food needs, and shelter requirements alongside their family care requirements.
It is with due respect that you need to know that I respect your organization. Now, I might not entirely be in line with what you do, but I don’t believe in what you have just done. I totally respect your purpose, and I think you ought to respect mine as well. You might not agree with what I stand for, but threatening myself and the organization is unnecessary. Now, I believe this is the greatest gift I could afford this economy, of course, following paying my taxes as due.
Mr. Hammond, unlike your organization, I don’t believe in threatening the purpose of another founder as myself. I hope this concise message enables you to take your time and think through your mission. I don’t believe issuing threats was one of the reasons you began NYQ, but if it were, maybe you should repurpose your goals. You also definitely need to recheck how you sue your communication channels.
